Born and raised just outside of Charlotte, NC, I grew up with the great fortune of living in a state where both mountains and the ocean are within a short drive. Family trips began to cement my love for the landscape and the beauty I was blessed to experience.
College kept me in the Carolinas as I received my degree in architecture from Clemson University. As it would turn out that diploma ended up not being the most valuable thing I received from my time there. At the beginning of my sophomore year I met the love of my life. Time flew by, Jillian and I got married, and we moved down to Charleston, SC.
Photography allows the opportunity to share some of the wonderful experiences and beautiful imagery I’ve seen along the way. It allows me to capture those moments in time for others as well. The art and science behind the lens combined with the appreciation of the beauty around us continuously drives me to capture the next shot.
